Principal's Biography - Leanne Clarke
Leading the school since 2018, Principal, Leanne Clarke, brings a wealth of experience to St Mary’s, having previously taught and led in a number of schools across sectors in urban, rural and remote settings in NSW and the Northern Territory.
Leanne’s transformational leadership style encourages the educators at St Mary’s to be innovative and create change to grow and shape the future success of St Mary’s. Her experience as an educator spans across K-6 teaching in addition to the specialist teaching areas of Geography, Environmental Science and Music. Accredited as a Lead Teacher in 2012 by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA), Leanne is recognised as having demonstrated consistent and innovative teaching practice, impacting across the school community.
Originally studying Primary teaching (Bachelor of Education), Leanne has also studied Humanities (Bachelor of Arts), Early Learning (Master of Early Childhood) and Theology (Master of Theology).
Holding a strong personal faith, Leanne is actively involved in the faith life at St Mary’s and leads by example in Christian Leadership and Mission, through involvement and leadership in school faith direction and through the St Patrick’s Parish.
